Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love everything about my 6:1:1 class. They make teaching so much fun. I truly feel as if they deserve everything good this world has to offer. What makes them special is that they do not let their diagnoses interfere with their learning. In school, this year, we have our first computer science class where we have been introduced to coding. They love it! Our computer teacher has shown me a host of websites to use with my kids however with limited resources and iPads, we aren’t always able to be engaged with our STEM learning once we leave computer class. These iPads and pencils will be used to enhance our learning in STEM where we can explore interactive science, coding, and their favorite: math lessons.
