Help me give my students new learning centers. My students need some of the basic skills these activities review. The magnetic language rods will help my students classify objects by their use as well as learn new vocabulary.

Teaching students with Autism are as rewarding as it is challenging. While my students may have special needs my expectations for them are high. We teach small groups, have one to one time to work on their individualized goals and whole group time. My students love music, playing with their peers on the playground as well as joining their peers in Theater Arts classes and Library time.
Autism is a spectrum disorder and all five students in my class have different sensory needs, making each one of them special to me.
We like to have fun and play while we learn. Each of my students has such a fun personality and I love letting them shine!
My Project
Working with students with Autism means that my students often have limited vocabulary as well as speech delays. The items I have selected will help with their language acquisition as well as learning what the items are used for.
Students with Autism struggle with the mundane tasks of addition when it has no images or visual draw to the task.
Math is also a struggle for some of my students, the addition folders will help build their development of number sense and help them have fun while they learn to add.
If I had these few new tasks I would be able to teach the students to do some of these tasks independently while I work with other students one to one on their goals.
