Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom come from low-income families that speak mainly Spanish. The families depend on the services of the center while they are at work. Most of my students spend over eight hours at the center and are eager to learn. The students are scoring low in the area of Literacy and have a year to improve their scores. The children are already struggling because they are second language learners but with the proper tools, they will excel.

My Project

My students need the perfect square table, with a couple of puzzles to enhance their vocabulary, their critical thinking skills and the love for literacy as they put together these wonderful and colorful puzzles.

The kiddos will be asked to talk about the puzzle they are building.

They will be asked open-ended questions to enhance their critical thinking skills. Watch children develop their language, build vocabulary and literacy skills through interactive puzzles that focus on the alphabet. My kiddos are still very young, and enjoy the vibrant colors of puzzles.
