This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In preparation for our next ELA Module (American Revolution), I am requesting donations for a rich classroom library with books on the topic. My 4th-grade students have minimal background knowledge of the American Revolution, so I would like to provide a rich library for them to select various books to read together.

The curriculum doesn't provide a library or additional resources for free.

These other books will engage the students and build their interest. As a result, they will learn about our history.

In addition to the books, I included bright printer paper for our activities and differentiation. I provide additional resources and laminate them to use as supplemental guides.

Your generosity will allow my students to learn about the topic from different perspectives and gain knowledge about history.
