My Project

My students are over the moon special! As their teacher, I strive to provide multiple opportunities for students to touch, manipulate and build while learning. I have chosen materials where students can collaborate together. For many, this is their first interaction with other students.

These materials will improve student collaboration and fine motor skills focusing on English Language Arts, Math, and Engineering!

Pocket math games will provide my higher level students opportunities to build their addition/counting skills. The puzzles, playstix, and magnetic tiles will provide opportunities for students to use their spacial skills and fine motor skills while building a picture and creating one-of-a-kind structures.

In the classroom, students will be able to sit on 5 soft seats to read or write together on new white boards. When students finish, they can stack their white boards in the lapboard supply center for easy organization.
