Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My pre-kindergarten youngsters are excited and eager to learn. I teach English Language Learners. The majority of my students are at-risk and underprivileged. Many of my students don't experience or see a lot of things outside of their communities/home, and my goal is to allow them to explore the most in the classroom through various resources provided to them. As their teacher, I strive to create a learning environment where each student reaches success through their own individual potential and determination.

I would like to start off the new year with some new and fun materials for our blocks, science, and art centers.

What is more fun than a Block Center and an Art Center? The addition of fort builders and some new transparent light and color blocks to replace our old, worn-out blocks will be a hit! All the kids will love building with the Fort Builder. These materials encourage social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills, as well as, problem solving. They are all important skills that my Pre-K students will need to be successful learners.
