My Students

My class consists of 27 hard-working students. They are always willing to work and have shown great progress throughout the years at our school. This is their last year at our school and we want them to be show their middle schools all they have to offer.

Our school not only works on building strong students academically, but we also focus on creating well-rounded children with community ties.

We want our students to be well-rounded individuals who are confident to show all they can contribute to their community.

My Project

Help me give my students a variety of books in their classroom library they can use to grow and progress their reading skills and abilities. I am asking for different leveled books for the start of our classroom library. As a first-year teacher, I would like to create a classroom library for my students that have a wide variety of genres. Providing my students with a range of levels will allow this library to be accessible to every type of reader in my classroom.

The classroom library supports literacy instruction, helps students to learn about books, provides a central location for classroom resources, provides opportunities for independent reading, and it's a place where students can interact and visit with each other about their favorite books
