My Project

I work with students from Kindergarten to 5th grade who are doing the hard work every day of breaking the reading code. As they get further and further along in their skills it is critical that they have good quality books that excite them and provide an opportunity to practice their learned skills. This fluency library will provide the opportunity for our 2nd and 3rd grade teachers to have a set of books in their classrooms for students to be able to pick up and read that are at their level.

Books are the gateway to all future learning!

By including books across a variety of science and social studies topics as well as multicultural stories with main characters who are from a variety of races and backgrounds, every student will have an opportunity to find a book that peaks their interest and opens the door to learning. Thank you for helping to fund this important project for our students and teachers.
