My Students

Do you remember the first time you played video games? Or the first time you used a computer ? Not all students are lucky enough to have all sources of updated technology. We must try to make as much available within the schools as possible, to keep up to date with such interactive resources.

I have a total of 80 students which include an abundant that are are economically disadvantaged when it comes to affording technological items.

It is extremely difficult for students to purchase an item like a Mac Notebook, let alone everyday school supplies like a pen or pencil. It is essential that schools are able to provide various updated technological items so students are not left behind in the technologically advance society that we live in. It is essential that students are exposed to the various interactive resources that permit them to have a better understanding of scientific content so that they can better the world.

My Project

It is essential to have a Mac Notebook in the classroom. The Mac Notebook will allow students to interact with various learning resources. The Mac Notebook will enable students to learn science through technological learning resources such as Wikipage, McGraw-Hill Online Website (Standard Assessments and Online Quizzes), Smart Response Clickers, Interactive Smart Board for PPT Presentations, Interactive SMART Notebook Activities, Discoveryed.com Videoclips, BrainPOP, and Virtual Lab Activities. McGraw-Hill Online Website is an excellent interactive resource, which allows students to review via eFlashcards, practice online assessments (standardized tests and quizzes), view video clips, and observe informational text. The world is advancing in technology, so should my students.

Students will have hands-on experience by utilizing the MAC Notebook and essentially make use of the technological device for their learning experience.

Technology is at a fast paced route and classrooms must stay on board with every step!
