My Students

In September my students began a whole new experience at school. I want to make it as fun and as safe as possible. I also want them to have rich and engaging experiences in learning. My new first grade students will be eager to learn in our new normal. My students are in a Title I high-needs area with 100% free lunch and breakfast.

My Project

Our school uses Project Based Learning to teach Science and Social Studies. At the end of the unit, we create projects and are in need of supplies to make these projects. Having basic supplies such as paint brushes, paint, model magic and tape will allow us to create our projects. The paint would be used to create a 3-Dimensional flower. The model magic would be used to build a model of an endangered animal. The tape would be used to build projects from recycled materials. Learning through creating projects is a great way to engage students and inspire creativity.
