My students need to have charts printed in color since most of them are English Language Learners. Seeing the images in color helps them to identify them as opposed to in black and white. We need a printer, computer and ink.

My Students

My students are mostly from Guyana and India. Some children are English Language Learners and don't speak English but are eager to learn. All of my students love coming to school. They love to read and write and are thrilled with learning new strategies to help them read and write.

They are very enthusiastic learners and always walk into the classroom in the morning with huge smiles on their faces.

Every child in my class can't wait for a new day!

My Project

Having an HP Envy Color printer would help my student increase their vocabulary. I would be able to print the words with a color image to help them identify the picture and read the word. An Acer Chromebook tablet will make resources available to my students that will help them with their reading and decoding.

By donating to my project, it will help my students to improve their reading and understanding of the English language.

Most of my students don't have the technology available in their homes. They will be able to use them in class to support my teaching.
