Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from Highland Park, a very culturally rich community. They are creative, resourceful, and eager to learn. They enjoy using different resources to better understand concepts and further push their understanding. As teachers we incorporate various methods of teaching to ensure that all of our students are able to access the curriculum.

My students are eager to learn and take that knowledge back to their community to become agents of change.

They will take this knowledge and apply it to their real world lives.

My Project

The use of these resources will greatly benefit all students in my class. The resources will encourage more engagement and as a result foster a positive learning environment. As an RSP Teacher, I want to use this resource to help all students reach their potential. The white boards will help me ensure that all students are able to have the proper materials when participating in a small group. The calculators and fidgets will ensure that all students have an entry point and do not have a reason for them not to participate in the curriculum.

These resources are important to ensure that all students have the same access and opportunities of learning.
