Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is filled with students with disabilities who have many obstacles to overcome. Giving them the opportunity to take charge of their learning is paramount to their success. Students learn best in small groups. Having the opportunity to have a horseshoe table in our room will allow them to collaborate and learn together. With a U-Shaped table students can take the lead and sit in the center to lead groups and activities with their peers.

A goal we have this year is to become independent and responsible learners.

Having individual seat sack organizers eliminates time spent walking to different areas of the classroom. It teaches children to be responsible and organized.
