This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having a color printer in the art classroom will help so much with art production. Many times students ask for reference photos for their sketchbooks, once funded, I'll be able to print these images for them! Students will also be able to access images for individual art works and special projects. I have seen how student engagement soars when given the opportunity to pick what they are drawing or painting and I look forward to being able to add more engagement in the art room. A color printer will also allow me to print images for each student when completing specific art works using the collage media or modified photography.
