My Project

My school has a great population of ELL students (English Language Learner). They are also underprivileged. They often don't have all the materials or resources that they need to learn, such as a headphone with a microphone.

The microphones with speakers will benefit the students to fully use the computer program Imagine Learning.

This program teaches phonics, sight words, and read books to the students. It allows to listen and speak to record their voices while reading a book. Then, the teacher can listen to the recording, and give the students feedback.

My goal is for all the ELL students from Kindergarten to 5th grade will be to speak and understand the English language. I hope that having these microphones with the speakers will make them more confident. They will show great achievement at the end of the school year.
