My Project

In full transparency, our school has a printer available to teachers. Oftentimes times it is unfortunately out of toner and being used by multiple teachers from multiple grade levels. This printer will ensure the special education students on my caseload will always have copies of their work available to them. This project prioritized disadvantaged children with disabilities. At times my students required augmented work that is necessary for them to be able to access the general education curriculum. My students work hard to make progress on their goals, a printer would ensure they always have access to the materials they need to be successful.

In addition to working for the students, the printer would provide me as a Special Educator the opportunity to print data sheets, reports, accommodation matrixes, and supplemental material for the general educators to incorporate into their daily instruction.
