My Students

I am a first grade teacher of wonderful, gifted and primarily bilingual students. Our school is located in an urban neighborhood, surrounded by single family homes and various houses of worship.

Our school is a true community with hard-working families, loving teachers and eager students from many different cultural and religious backgrounds.

The common thread that binds us is respect and acceptance. My students enjoy problem-solving in math and independently reading books of all genres.

My Project

Throughout our day we learn through reading, writing and problem-solving. Many times we want to share our work with the whole class. Having the ability to scan our work into our computer and display the work on the IWB will allow us to see and peer review, edit and share each child's work.

In addition, we need a single copy and do not have the time to wait to have the office make it for us.

In addition, when I create work on the computer, I need to print it out to distribute. A multifunction printer will solve all of these problems at once.
