My Students

My students come to school every day excited and ready to learn! They are eager to learn and try new things. I want them to know that I believe in them and they can do anything! I teach at a Title I Pre-K through 2nd grade school in inner-city Ohio where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Most of the students are living at or below the poverty line. My students are creative, caring, and very energetic. Our classroom is a hands-on learning community. I work with children who are four- and five-years old.

Their ability to love learning excites me to find new and exciting ways to teach things to them.

They love to learn about new things. They love to look up information online together and will ask many questions to learn as much as they can.

My Project

Because of the recent events surrounding social distance and COVID-19, I want make sure that my students have their own set of headphones to assist in the following of mandated guidelines. The school provided headphones and Ipads at the beginning of the school year for every student. My students have struggled with all the cords and some of the headphones have been getting broken. I would like to provide them with a wireless pair to keep our learning going.

Through the use of these headphones, I also want to ensure that their access to technology is uninterrupted yet safe.

I believe that they should still have the same opportunities as they had before and should not have to pay the price due to unfortunate circumstances that we all are facing.

They deserve all of the benefits of education without fear.
