Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As the new year 2020 begins I want my students to feel great about our new curriculum in a Title I school; where 97 percent of the students receive free lunch. These are a bunch of eager to learn ESL 6th grade students!

My Project

Many of our classroom novels are hard copies and with the language barrier, reading strategies are a challenge. However, through the usage of multiple entry points , like Audible DVDS , students can listen to the book as they follow along! Our classroom needs a portable DVD player so that all students have the accessibility to learn and engage as eager readers. Our classroom needs a “portable DVD player ” found in Lakeshore Stores, so all my students can have the accessibility to learn and engage as eager readers!
