My Project

My theatre students are powerful individuals. They are working tirelessly to produce quality theatre for our community. As they dig deeper into their craft, they are discovering that some of our sound equipment is not at the level it needs to be. We have for years worked with decent microphones that have suited our needs perfectly well, but as our productions grow in quality, so do our needs. Our theatre is in dire need of new lavalier microphones that will help to amplify my students' voices for the whole audience to hear and enjoy.

My students are ambitious and creative.

They are always searching and wanting to do something more. As I have seen my program grow, I am seeing these students find a love for the Performing Arts in such a way that is truly humbling. We have always strived to be a Department that exemplifies everything a student does whether it is on stage or in the classroom.

They even challenge me as their director and never once allowed me to settle for "good enough." They are constantly raising the bar again and again. With the purchase of these new microphones, we can hope to continue to aspire to greatness, aways building on the old with the tools of the new.
