My Project

This year I am working towards having a developmentally appropriate, play-based kindergarten classroom. My goal is to be cognizant and accepting of each student's background as well as appeal to my students' interests. I am looking to add STEM toys to initiate creativity, toys with diversity to show that everyone is accepted, instruments to support the arts, and books to my shelves. I have also added some social-emotional books for read alouds and sensory tools to my project to support my students that need help regulating their feelings and emotions.
