My students need to present theatre productions and poetry readings to a large crowd, and their young voices cannot project as needed, so we would like a Behringer PA system to help their voices be heard.

My Students
As a teacher in a rural school district with a high percentage of free/reduced lunch recipients, I recognize my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am always looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences in my classroom.
My students are the lifeblood of my classroom, and they deserve the best educational opportunities, regardless of their home life.
My students are the leaders of tomorrow. They are creative, clever, and spontaneous. They like to move, they love to be in front of others, and they love positive attention. They constantly remind me of their abilities and their ambition. For that, I am thankful.
My Project
Theatre inspires. As a theatre teacher, I have seen tremendous gains and changes in middle school students' confidence levels and communication abilities over the years. Though we enjoy performing in the classroom, we want to be able to go beyond, to larger crowds at community events, nursing homes, other schools, and even within our school.
Though my students are working on their projection and stage presence, they need that extra boost to LET THEIR VOICES BE HEARD in our school and community.
I base my lessons and teaching around the four Cs: Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Critical Thinking. This Behringer PA system would allow us to go beyond the classroom and take our talent to not only the school but the community by bringing performances to organizations throughout our community. We love a good challenge, and we feel this will allow us to step outside our box to better fulfill the four Cs and promote performing arts education in our community.
