Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students are newcomers to this country. Please help build my library of bilingual books, books in Spanish and graphic novels. These books will help my students learn to feel confident in reading. They will be using these as independent reading books, both in school and at home.

These books will allow my students to learn to read in English as well as, feeling comfortable reading in their native language.

These books will definitely be utilized every day by my students. Most of my students are ENL students, so I want to give them books that they are interested in reading, to help foster a love of reading and learning English. Please help support their love of reading books on non-fiction topics and fiction books where they can escape into their imagination and dream.
