My Students

My first grade students are amazing. They work hard at every task and strive to improve on a daily basis. My students started school at a new school opening up during the co-vid pandemic, so never even knew the building until finally allowed in for hybrid in march. That didn't stop them from growing at the beginning of the school year in distance learning....they came to every meet willing and wanting to learn and improve. This is a class to help because they truly do reflect an inspirational future full of kind, hard-working, persevering, grit worthy group of oeople.

My Project

Students will be have more a variety of books to choose to read at their independent levels. Students will have plenty of opportunities to read their books in class, but if needed will also have the opportunity to read at home. A variety of choices lets kids understand that every person is a fluent reader, but some kids like certain books over others and that is perfectly okay. Help the kids learn to read and most importantly love to read! My kids are capable.....I can promise that! They are amazing and tenacious!
