This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students thrive in an environment where they can access hands on learning. We have read wonderful novels and dissected their words and intricacies.

As we approach our Good Rush unit, I want to give them an opportunity to each have a book they can read and learn from.

When we hear a story being read, follow along with our own reading, make observations and take robust notes, our learning can have more depth.

My students are incredible! They come to school every day ready to learn, and I want to do what I can to make that learning fun and exciting. My goal is to continue to gather a variety of whole class book sets so we can read books cover to cover! Because that’s the best way to read! Help make our class even BETTER readers and support our next reading adventure!
