Let the Fun and Learning Begin!

Help me give my students the math manipulative they need. These will help them understand the math concepts at the same time as doing hands-on activities.

My Project

My students are in a self contained class. They are non-verbal and love sensory materials and doing hands-on activities. They enjoy learning in a collaborative way in a small group. This spring we are going to explore more on the numbers, sight words, and life cycles.

Life Cycles materials:

My students will explore the concept of the life cycles of living organisms which is a powerful tool for helping them making sense of the complexity, diversity, and interconnectedness of life on Earth.

Magnetic Board:

The magnetic board will help them recognize the sight words and learn how to organize their thoughts and create a sentence.

Wooden numbers:

These wooden materials will help my special need students visualize counting and at the same time exercise their small motor gross skills. This project will help my class foster learning in fun, meaningful, and engaging ways.
