Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Our school population is majority Latino, but we do service African American, Caucasian, Muslim and Chinese families. Students come into the classroom every day ready to learn, and for many of my students, I am their gateway to an academically enriched environment.

My prekindergarten students are young explorers and demand to be challenged and engaged at all times, my classroom is an adventure every day.

My Project

The Cricut will give me the opportunity to expand our classroom creatively. And give my students a visual experience every time they walk into their classroom.

With the Cricut we can make amazing bulletin boards, craft activities, family keepsakes, and amazing tangible experiences that will last forever.

School is a safe haven for many of my students and my goal is to make my classroom feel as warm and comforting as possible. The Cricut will help me do that, by creating positive reinforcements, amazing projects for my students and keepsakes throughout the year for all of our hands on activities and appreciation goals.
