My Project

By having a new rug in our classroom, students will have a warm, welcoming place to come together as a classroom family.

During whole group instruction, my students will be able to utilize this rug when we read novels as a group, participate in morning meetings, and also give students another comfortable place to sit when they have the opportunity to choose their seats throughout the school day.

My students also really enjoy getting to sit together on the rug with their classmates during activities such as independent reading time or partner work.
