My Project

I currently teach in a NYC DOE public school in Staten Island, NY. My students come from diverse backgrounds and some are in low income housing. I teach two special education classes with a variety of disabilities such as autism, speech and language impairment, and sensory processing disorder.

I believe that when students see their work displayed, it builds their confidence and self esteem.

I am requesting a cork bulletin board so I can display my students work throughout the school year. We work hard all day in the classroom and their hard work should be seen by all.
