This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students all the costumes and props needed to put on a show-stopping performance this June! My students attend a public elementary Title I school with approximately 400 students. My students have been rehearsing for the past seven months in preparation for our Frozen Kids play. This is our first live performance post-pandemic, and we want it to be AMAZING! In fulfilling this grant, you will be helping us light up the stage and buy our students all the necessary costumes and materials needed. Through this experience, our students are learning the basics of putting on a performance and building their self-esteem. Our whole school will benefit from your donations because everyone has a chance to come and see the magic.
