My Students

My 6th grade students are the future scientists of the world. Coming from many different backgrounds and speaking a variety of languages, they apply their prior knowledge and lived experiences to enhance their learning each day.

In my classroom, I strive to create hands-on, culturally relevant lessons that address real-world issues.

By helping to support this cause, you too can contribute to preparing the future scientists of our world!

My Project

These lessons from experienced science teachers will help to bring engaging content to my students. I strive to include various learning techniques in my lessons, including readings, drawings and hands-on activities. However, last year all of our activities were virtual. This gift card will allow me to choose a variety of specific lessons that will engage my students in future topics including ecology and human impact on the earth’s climate. The best part about the lessons on Teachers Pay Teachers is that these lessons are both teacher and kid approved; they are on the website because they work!
