My Students

Our school is a large, urban, public school with almost 3000 students. Our population is incredibly diverse with students walking our halls from almost every continent. Despite the many challenges they face, they all tend to have one thing in common, and that is a desire to do well and be successful.

Like in so many urban schools, our students don't always have the opportunity to experience the aspects of traditional high school life, especially when it comes to sports.

Being able to provide quality sports program can make all the difference in these kids' lives and provide them with the structure and discipline needed to foster success in any of their future endeavors.

My Project

With this equipment, our student-athletes will be able to compete on a level playing field with schools all across the city. They will have the opportunity to train properly to ensure safe participation in a contact sport. This new equipment will enable us to increase student-athlete participation and reduce downtime on the field. The utilization of quality equipment is instrumental in the coaching of proper techniques for safe blocking and tackling and receiving these items can make a significant difference for our team. Improving our student athletes' skills and techniques will only enhance their chances of continuing with sport in college.
