My Students

I teach at a Title I school. More than half of the students are living in a low-income family household. Despite this, these students love to learn.

"I can't do this, yet, but I am going to keep on trying.” This is a quote from one of my students this year.

They love to try new things and not give up.

My students entered my class at various levels in reading and math. They love to work together and help each other at any time during the day. They need hands-on activities to keep them focused. They are very hard workers, and I can't wait to see them grow this year!

My Project

TeachersPayTeachers is a website that I use constantly to help make my students' learning better. This website constantly adds new and updated materials to match different standards across the country. I have bought so many things from them that I currently use daily in my classroom.

Where would I be without the help of another teacher?

Let's face it, in this career you need to work together to survive. I am good with technology but not creative enough to make these fun and engaging lessons that other teachers can make. Not only am I getting good quality materials but I will be supporting other teachers as well.
