Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children have different needs today than they did just a short time ago. A major need of children now is sensory needs. Due to many factors, less outdoor play, more video games and other technology have led to increase in children needing forms of sensory input. Also, these sensory toys have soothing qualities for children that have high anxiety. Sometimes just something to rub gently will let children focus better on tasks and overcome their nervousness in a classroom setting. It would be awesome to add these sensory items to my toolbox of tricks to help students succeed!
