Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This high-speed, multi-color 3D printer will transform learning by providing hands-on, personalized engagement that aligns with NGSS high school standards. The A1 Combo includes the AMS (Automatic Material System) Lite, allowing seamless multi-color printing with minimal filament waste, giving students greater flexibility in designing and prototyping. They will apply HS-ETS1-2 by breaking down complex problems into manageable, engineering-based challenges and creating real-world solutions through 3D modeling. In chemistry, HS-PS1-4 will come to life as students print molecular structures, helping them visualize chemical reactions and energy changes. Our research program will also explore sustainability and resource management (HS-ESS3-3) by developing custom-printed environmental models. Additionally, students will practice HS-ETS1-4 by iterating on prototypes, using simulation and testing to refine their designs.

With the Bambu A1, our after-school 3D Print Club and research program will unlock endless creativity and innovation!

Beyond meeting standards, the A1 Combo with AMS Lite will provide custom manipulatives for both students and teachers, making complex concepts more tangible. By incorporating engineering, physics, chemistry, and environmental science, this project will enhance problem-solving skills, creativity, and hands-on learning in ways traditional methods cannot. With a reliable, multi-color 3D printer, students can focus on innovation rather than troubleshooting, making STEM education more engaging and accessible for all.
