This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second grade students love to be exposed to new and fun books. They enjoy participating in read-alouds at school and are eager to continue their love of learning and reading at home.

Most students do not have books to read independently at home.

This lending library will allow students to take books home on a variety of subjects that are on their level. They can read these books independently or read with family members. They will be able to share these books throughout the year as a part of our lending library.
