My Project

This project is very exciting for the sixth grade class. They have loved Science class so far this year and their interest is only building. They interest encourages motivation and that creates a fun learning environment where the students are engaged. They crave for more knowledge and they love to work with their hands being mostly visual and kinesthetic learners.

LEGO kits are valuable in science education because they provide a hands-on, tangible way for children to explore concepts like gravity, balance, force, and engineering principles, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.

These LEGO kits allow the students to buy race cars and then race them. They also can engineer robots to perform actions. They can be reused and allow students to be creative and learn through trying a variety of formats. The markers are the top need of the class and have been mentioned over and over again. They will be used in Science as well to draw out their drafts and allow just another level of learning.
