My Project

The Jr. Robotics class is truly a hands-on learning environment where students build and program their own robots. The students are excited to come to class and work together to solve the challenges presented to them. Our class has eight computers but only five or six seem to work at a time. This means groups are waiting around for a computer. This creates distractions and off-task behavior. A solution to this technical issue is having students code on an android tablet such as a Samsung tablet. The software needed to code can be easily downloaded on the tablet and students can code just like on a desktop computer.

These tablets will provide the opportunity for the kids to code in the classroom comfortably, many at a time.
