My Students

My students are so excited to return to school and get back to having hands-on STEAM experiences in our Innovation Lab. We will delve into 3D printing, robotics, and programming, as well as many other hands-on projects. It is so fun to watch their faces light up when they see the results of their own creations.

The students are curious and creative, imaginative, and innovative.

I love hearing their new ideas. We are a diverse school with many cultures and languages, and STEAM experiences are great at bringing everyone together for a common goal.

My Project

My students this year are having to adapt to new learning environments. While half my students are learning in-person, the other half are learning at-home. It is my number one goal to ensure that both sets of students are getting the same experience from the Innovation Lab and our STEM projects.

The classic LEGO sets and wheels set will allow all my students to have a hands-on experience for our STEM projects.

The LEGO will be separated into kits assigned to each student, that can either be used with students at-school, or at home for those that are distance learning. LEGO are a great way to have open-ended design projects for my students, and they just love building all sorts of vehicles. Even an Elf trap needs wheels!
