My Project

Each year our class looks forward to participating in a district-wide Lego League specifically for students with special needs! Our students have the opportunity to work on a Lego project that they have to build and code while researching a topic of interest.

As soon as the event is finished, they start asking about participating the following year.

This year's theme is "Submerged". The students will learn all about ocean life: the layers of the ocean and the creatures in it! Participating in Lego League gives our students the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled learning experience! They take pride in their projects and the work they do.

The class will present their project to students and staff members from other schools at the Hall of Science later this year. This is a great field trip that they look forward to!
