Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my LEGO club created a project this year to bring LEGOs to all the students at the school to add new dimensions to learning. These LEGO sets are intended to allow the greater school community to learn about many subjects in a way that is innovative and new. This year the students have been able to support some of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes. However, they hope to build more sets so more classes can have these resources in the classroom.

The different brick sets I have requested will allow the students to build projects like the Astronaut, the Great Wall of China, and the Himeji Castle, so they can support the ELA and history classes that have not been supported yet this year.

The students have been so excited to finish and deliver the sets they completed this year. I know that this joy will continue when they get to deliver the new sets to the classes. Donating to our project will ensure their creations can be shared with the whole school.
