Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students enjoy learning in different ways, and building something with LEGO can help them really make connections with content. Each of these LEGO sets align with at least one 6th, 7th, or 8th grade California History and Social Sciences content area. The bulk LEGO pieces set allows us some flexibility with having students build other models or do other activities.

LEGO can help make learning fun for students of all ages, even middle school students.

Sometimes, what we do in class has to be less than exciting because students need to be able to do certain skills. Sometimes, subjects can be made more fun. I am not sure how long these sets will survive intact, but hopefully many students will be able to interact with them.
