Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These Lego sets will make a Lego elective possible at our school. The goal is for every student to be able to build a set and also experiment with the robotic elements of the Lego kit. Students will engage in building and experimentation with these Lego sets. It will help them build their engineering thinking and their basics of understanding robotics.

These kits will also help students learn the basics of programming.

Lego robotics can also help them enhance their problem-solving skills. Much like traditional Lego builds, children will have to build their robots from the ground up and at times, they may find themselves stuck or unsure of what to do next. This allows them to become comfortable with productive struggle.
