Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project focuses on providing LEGO Duplo sets and coding robots to pre-K through 3rd grade students. These two distinct yet complementary resources will offer a dynamic and hands-on learning experience, fostering a love for problem-solving, collaboration, and STEM concepts from the earliest stages of education. By bringing LEGO Duplo sets and coding robots into our classrooms, we aim to foster a love for learning in STEM subjects from an early age and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities.

The LEGO Duplos serve as the perfect foundation for young minds to explore spatial relationships, enhance fine motor skills, and unleash their imaginations.

These colorful and versatile building blocks create an engaging environment where learning is synonymous with play. Introducing coding robots to our classrooms opens up a world of possibilities. These age-appropriate robots provide an interactive platform for children to grasp fundamental coding principles through play. As they program the robots to move, turn, and respond to commands, students develop logical thinking and computational skills.
