LEGO DUPLO Creativity Through Music

Help me give my students a LEGO DUPLO experience as they create what they hear in music.

My Project

More often teachers are seeing a decline in fine motor-skills. One avenue that can assist in improving said skills is the exposure to LEGOs. Unfortunately, upper grades struggle holding traditional sized LEGO bricks; therefore, we must get ahead of the problem and expose younger students to larger sized LEGO bricks.

Students will create visual art through LEGOs.

During several lessons, students will hear a multitude of genres. Much like Disney’s “Fantasia” being a musically visual experience, students will have a similar opportunity. As they listen to music, students will rotate to different stations (i.e. drawing, LEGO building, play-doh, etc.) and create their visual interpretation of the music they hear.

This is a unique experience for students. Please help me find this project and bring music to life through visual arts using LEGO DUPLO.
