Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Lego kits in my classroom have been a hit so far! My students are super excited to be able to build the Lego sets and start writing narrative stories inspired by their builds. This hands-on approach to writing really helps my students' creativity flow. They feel energized and excited to start writing their stories, which as a teacher, makes me super excited!

The Lego sets included in this project will continue to help inspire my students to write fun and engaging narratives from their own imaginations!

By using Lego sets as a foundation to inspire students, I have seen a massive increase in motivation from my students to start their writing. As a teacher, I have seen many students struggle with starting to write their narratives. By introducing Lego sets, I have given my students a starting point for their inspiration.
