My Students

My first grade students are amazing. They come from a variety of places and circumstances. Each kid comes to school every day ready to learn, to work, and most importantly, to grow. The kids are all individuals, which different strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. The one thing they all have in common is that they persevere and continue to amaze me and the world on a daily basis!

My Project

I want to give to start an after-school club for those interested in engineering via Legos. I want to base the design off of Lego-Masters. I think kids will love the opportunity to build and create creative designs, and more importantly, will learn to work together to create truly amazing products! My goal is for students to build and put together incredible ideas into real-life projects. I also want kids to learn that teammates are necessary and helpful in building the best projects. When and if my project is funded, I will form an engineer Lego club at my school!
