My Project

I am requesting these items in order to upgrade my classroom library! I want my students to have a space that they can be comfortable in and have a multitude of options to read from. In my classroom, our library doubles as a space to get books, as well as a calming corner. I want to make sure that this area is as accessible and wonderful for my students as possible.

My goal for this project is to completely fill my library with new and interesting reads that my students have yet to be introduced to!

The world is such a huge place and my students have yet to have the opportunity to be fully introduced to it. But, one way that I know they can be introduced is through books!

What makes my students special is that while each and every one of them is different in their own way, they all have something in common. That commonality is their love for reading! My students love going to the school library and they also love their independent reading time. Books are a safe space for them as it allows them to learn about different topics, as well as delve into a world of mystery and wonder. I want to continue promoting that love and joy for reading as much and as long as I can!
