Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a Title I school where a majority of students receive free or reduced-price lunch. The school consists of approximately 80% Hispanic. My class is very energetic and always ready to learn. They are the hardest working students who are so resilient!

My Project

The latest advances in technology provide students with easy-to-access information, accelerated learning, and fun opportunities to practice what they are learning. It also enables students to explore new subjects and deepen their understanding of hard-to-understand concepts, particularly in the inner-city schools where technology isn’t as readily available.

Pupils learn when they become engaged with technology in the classroom, rather than passively listening to a lecture or reading a textbook.

They can learn information or practice skills on their own or in small groups, while a teacher circulates and assists those who may need it. Students depend heavily on the latest technology, and procuring these items will make a world of difference.
