My Students

My students are an amazing group of young learners. They make coming to work everyday a pleasure.

My students are always eager to learn and work together in order to meet their next goal.

We value our school and classroom community and thrive in an environment in which we look out and care for one another. Students in my classroom help each other learn new things and even work together to help their classmates when someone is struggling with something.

My Project

The students in my classes have all different needs. Some are ELLs, some need some extra support, and some just need a challenge for when they're done with their work. Although we have ways to help and challenge students now, tablets are very engaging for them and multiple resources are accessible.

Having access to tablets in my classroom will give students the resources they need in order to succeed.

My ELL students will be able to translate class novels, students with learning disabilities will have extra support, and students who need to be more challenged will have online enrichment. Not only will these tablets help my students this year, but many students to come! The large pocket chart and sentence strips will help create a great vocabulary word wall for their weekly vocabulary words. The chart paper will help me create anchor charts to support students while working independently, as well as when they are working in groups.
